Brand e-commerce - from choosing a product to buying again

Clothing and outfits need visually appealing product presentation and help with choosing the right size. We build and develop stores that connect a brand's character with the right purchase process. We handle the interface, integrations and platform operations, including when a campaign causes sales peaks and sudden traffic increases. We support customer loyalty.

Turning interest in a brand into a purchase

A customer browses a collection in a lookbook but cannot tell which products are available online. They choose a set but cannot select different sizes. They want to try a product in a physical store, but the site does not show in-store availability. Launches and campaigns add to these problems by exposing technical constraints.

We combine store development with an analysis of the range, data and order-handling process. This helps establish what needs to change in the interface design, integrations and application behaviour.

How we help

Variants, bundles and collections serve different purposes

A variant is a choice of product size or colour. A bundle combines several products, each of which may need individual fitting. When putting together a suit, customers may need different jacket and trouser sizes and want to see the discount for buying them together.

A brand collection presented in a lookbook helps customers explore the range and, alongside online sales, may lead to contact with an atelier. The site architecture accounts for both buying ready-made products and this way of making a decision. Photos, video and model information are positioned to suit the purpose of each journey.

We also work on media loading, including prioritising content visible when entering the page. Customers can view a product, select the right variant and proceed to a purchase or contact the brand.

In-store availability as part of the online store

Customers interested in trying something on need information about a particular model and size at their chosen store. Connecting the online store with ERP and retail network data makes it possible to show this on the product page.

The integration scope includes variant identification, the source of availability data and update rules. During migration, we also account for customer relationship data, including loyalty programme history. The brand can connect online shopping with service in physical stores.

A platform ready for campaigns

A collection launch, viral video or campaign targeting a large community can quickly increase searches, basket operations and orders. We diagnose costly operations, cache configuration and tasks performed during checkout. We establish which data must be processed immediately and which can be handled in the background. When taking over a store, we start with stabilisation and sales priorities.

Experience that supports our work

A clothing brand with a retail network

We migrated from Magento 1 to Magento 2, implemented Hyvä and integrated ERP. We developed outfit building with separate sizes and automatic bundle discounts. The scope included in-store availability and migration of loyalty programme history.

A clothing brand with an atelier

We implemented Magento 2 with Hyvä for a site combining ready-to-wear sales with bridal and evening collection presentations. The work covered visual design, technical implementation and maintenance. Purchase journeys led to buying online or contacting the atelier.

A wellness brand - takeover and development

We worked on stabilising Magento 2, the database, cache and integration with a marketing automation tool. The scope included product delivery subscriptions and ticket sales connected with a QR-scanning application.

How we start

We get to know the products, purchase journeys and planned campaigns. We examine how variants are described, where stock information comes from and which tasks the platform performs during an order. We then prioritise interface, integration and performance changes and prepare a plan for implementation or development and ongoing maintenance.
