Shopify and Shopify Plus - stores tailored to your business

Want to launch a new store, simplify the operation of your current one or start selling in more markets? We design and implement Shopify and Shopify Plus stores - from their appearance and purchase journey to integrations with your company's systems.

We connect customer needs with your team's everyday work: managing products, processing orders, payments and logistics. We start by checking whether Shopify meets your requirements, which plan you need and how much the entire solution will cost to maintain.

A free 30–60 minute call. We will learn about your sales model, markets and company systems. We will provide an initial assessment of whether Shopify or Shopify Plus fits your needs and which areas require analysis.

Shopify

Less time on technology, more room for sales

Shopify takes care of infrastructure maintenance and updates to the platform itself. Your team can focus on your offering, campaigns and customer service, while managing content and merchandising independently in the store's admin panel.

A good implementation takes more than choosing a theme. Product data needs to be organised, shopping needs to be convenient, the store needs to connect to your business systems, and apps need to be selected so their costs do not come as a surprise after launch.

At Velocity, we bring these elements together into a working sales process.

Implementation and development

How we can help

Launching a new store

We prepare your store from the first discussions through to the start of sales. We design the catalogue structure, navigation, product pages and key views. We configure payments, delivery, promotions and analytics tools.

We adapt the scope to your business stage: from an implementation based on a carefully selected theme to a custom interface design.

Designing and developing your storefront

Your store should reflect your brand and help customers make a decision. We focus on clear product presentation, product search, variant selection and convenient shopping on mobile.

We also create sections your team can use to build campaign, collection and content pages independently. This means everyday marketing work requires a developer less often.

ERP, PIM, CRM and logistics integrations

We connect Shopify to the systems responsible for products, prices, stock levels, orders and customer service.

We start by establishing which system manages the data and how it should flow between the store, warehouse and other tools. We choose ready-made integrations or design a custom solution where the process requires it.

We also account for situations where something goes wrong: synchronisation errors, operation retries and notifications for the people responsible for handling them.

Migrating from your current platform

We help you move to Shopify from Magento, WooCommerce and other systems. Before work starts, we check which features can be transferred directly, which need a different solution and which are worth leaving behind.

We plan the data transfer, catalogue mapping, URL redirects and integration cutover. We define the scope of customer and order-history migration after analysing the data and the capabilities of both platforms.

Before launch, we check the entire process: from viewing a product to paying for the order and sending it for fulfilment.

International sales

We prepare your store for selected markets: language versions, currencies, domains and local payment and delivery methods.

We establish what can be shared across countries and what needs separate configuration. We verify the availability of the required features for the market, plan and service providers in question.

Development and support after launch

After launch, we develop the store alongside your business. We implement new features, support campaigns, improve usability and maintain integrations.

We also review the apps you use - their costs, their impact on store operation and whether they are still needed. We establish clear work priorities and rules for responding to problems.

Shopify and Shopify Plus

Shopify or Shopify Plus?

Shopify - when you want to launch and run sales efficiently

Standard Shopify plans may be sufficient to run and develop your store, including integrations and international sales. They are a good starting point when your sales model fits the capabilities of the platform and the selected apps.

We select a plan based on specific requirements and costs. Sales growth alone does not automatically mean you need to move to Plus.

Shopify Plus - when you need more flexibility

We consider Shopify Plus when a project requires greater checkout customisation, more advanced sales scenarios or the management of a larger organisation.

Before choosing it, we identify the specific features that justify the higher subscription cost. We also check the limitations: Plus is still a SaaS platform, so unusual requirements need to be verified before implementation begins.

B2B

B2B sales on Shopify

If you sell to businesses, we start with the way you work with your trading partners. We check how you set prices, who places orders, what payment terms apply and what the ERP is responsible for.

Based on this, we design company accounts, catalogues, commercial terms, and order placement and fulfilment. We choose the Shopify plan and any extensions to match the required B2B scope.

We pay particular attention to verifying non-standard processes - multi-level approvals, complex pricing rules or credit limits that depend on ERP data. From the start, we establish how to handle them and whether Shopify is the right foundation for such a solution.

Step by step

How we manage implementation

  1. 01

    Requirements and solution selection

We learn about your sales model, catalogue, markets and company systems. We verify the key requirements and the areas that may increase costs or complicate implementation.

  2. 02

    Scope, design and costs

We agree on the scope of the initial launch, prepare the store design and plan the integrations. We show the costs of implementation, the subscription, apps and expected support.

  3. 03

    Implementation and testing

We build the store, configure features and connect systems. We test shopping, payments, delivery, promotions and data flows. We prepare your team to manage the store independently.

  4. 04

    Launch and further development

We switch sales over according to the agreed plan, check store operation after launch and deliver subsequent work in line with business priorities.
