Selected solutions

Product use, packaging and delivery logic.

A catalogue tailored to gardening tasks

Customers do not always start shopping with a product name. They may look for fertiliser for a particular plant, a pest-control solution or supplies for autumn tasks. The category structure and product information support these search approaches. Seasonal pages and practical guides complement the offering. We implemented dedicated promotional rules, additional cart promotions and advanced promotional bundles.

Product variants, pack sizes and delivery methods

The same product may be bought in a small pack or a larger quantity. A shared product page brings together available variants and their prices. Ordering also accounts for basket weight and dimensions, which affect the available delivery methods and shipping cost, including pallet transport.

Multiple integrations

The website was designed as part of the company’s wider architecture, with multiple integrations included in the project. Alongside the ERP system, the store was connected to a ticket-management solution and BaseLinker.

Results

A gardening store connected to Wialan’s systems.

Wialan received an ERP-integrated Magento gardening store with a catalogue accounting for product use, season and different variants. Order handling combines weight and dimension rules with different delivery options. The store retains its own presentation while integrating with the client’s ERP system. We also carried out advanced SEO work and checkout improvements, including a clearer distinction between purchases requiring an invoice and those with a receipt.
