Adobe Commerce implementation and SEO
Preparing stores, catalogues, search and the purchasing journey, alongside technical search-engine optimisation.
European markets · Corporate integrations · Platform development
E-commerce implementation and development in Poland and other European countries - with ERP and CRM integrations, loyalty-system vouchers and extensive sales and customer communication features.
About the project
Syngenta was developing an online sales channel for agricultural products, including crop protection products and seed. The implementation needed to combine a convenient shopping journey with corporate systems and the sales rules of individual markets. We were responsible for implementing and developing Adobe Commerce stores, integrations on the e-commerce side and technical maintenance. The collaboration covered several European markets and continued adaptation of the platforms to changing client needs.

Selected solutions
The store used data and processes maintained outside Adobe Commerce. We connected it to ERP through the client’s integration layer, working with their teams and integrators. Our responsibility covered the e-commerce side: preparing order data, communicating with the integration and handling back-office responses. Separate CRM and loyalty-system connections linked purchases to customer information and brand programmes. The loyalty system generated vouchers that customers could redeem in the store. Adobe Commerce handled redemption during ordering.
Expansion into further markets involved differences in functionality. Store configuration accounted for local requirements for access to the offering, order handling and payment methods. Adobe Commerce provided the technological foundation, while we adapted functionality to each market’s needs in collaboration with the client’s teams.
Selling agricultural products requires attention to product parameters, delivery rules and information required at purchase. Work covered catalogue filtering, product documentation, logistics rules and messages and declarations during ordering. Loyalty vouchers, product bundles and promotional mechanisms complemented this process with features used in the brand’s sales activities. Subsequent implementation stages also included deferred payments, marketing automation, back-in-stock notifications and RMA.
Results
The Adobe Commerce implementations supported direct sales across several markets and connected to ERP, CRM and loyalty systems. Customers could redeem vouchers, buy bundles and use local payment methods. Later stages added marketing communication, reviews, availability notifications and after-sales service. VLCT’s scope covered sales functionality, e-commerce-side integrations and technical maintenance.
